ELECTRICAL MUSCLE STIM COURSE
Integrating Electrical Muscle Stimulation in High Performance Training

For trainers, coaches, physical therapists and other (sports-)(para-)medical professionals, who wants to know more about muscle stimulation and the relation with strength training physiology.

Goals of this course:

  • Making a translation of strength training muscle physiology to muscle stimulation (NMES) use.

  • Explaining NMES in simple and easy to understand language, therefore the term muscle stimulation, to promote the instruction to end-users. Like a quote of Albert Einstein: "If you can't explain it to a six-year-old, you don't understand it yourself."

  • Explaining how and where we can implement muscle stimulation in training, recovery and pain management in support to performance training?

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience with strength training physiology

  • In possession of a Compex device

INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Compex Academy!
Thank you for purchasing this training course.

My goal for this course is:
  • Translating your knowledge of strength training related physiology to muscle stimulation use in strength training.
  • Converting information that is considered complex to information that is simple and easy to understand, to promote the instruction to clients. For example, therefor we are using the terminology "muscle stim" instead of NMES.
  • Explaining how and where we can implement muscle stimulation in training (programs), recovery and pain management?

At the end of the course you can try to become an official internationally certified Compex Performance Trainer by passing the exam.

I hope you will enjoy this training and that you will use Compex more often and effective in your daily work and life.

Kind Regards,
Arno Bosman
