“If you can’t explain it to a six-year-old, you don’t understand it yourself” – Albert Einstein.

My name is Arno Bosman and I am the Global Expert of Compex and the author of the book:
COMPEX MUSCLE STIMULATION IN PERFORMANCE TRAINING
"Integrating Electrical Muscle Stimulation in High Performance Training Programs"

I believe that sharing knowledge will improve professionality. Therefore, I want to share my knowledge of muscle stimulation and Compex recovery products with all professionals in (high) performance training to improve the quality and efficiency of the use of Compex products for end users.

I have been teaching and coaching people for more than 30 years as a judo coach, physical therapist, rehab trainer and sales manager.  My graduation to sport physical therapist at the International Academy for Sportscience (IAS) in 2002 has opened my eyes about training physiology and has always been my foundation. 10 years ago, I fell in love with Compex Muscle stim. I discovered a lot of misunderstanding, complex thinking, lack of knowledge and stigmatization about neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES). Complex terminologies, evidence-based thinking mentality and detailed theoretical questioning is in my opinion a smoking screen for lack of knowledge about what NMES means and what it is capable of. That theoretical information can be useful, but I think that translation to your daily work in training physiology is more important than knowing all (technical) details. In the end we all want to work with NMES/Muscle Stim practically.
Probably now you see the relation with that quote of Albert Einstein.
Translating these complex thoughts to simple and practical performance training principles has been my mission since then for all Compex products. That is why I talk about muscle stim and not about the complex NMES terminology.

All what you teach, you must have been experiencing.
My personal experience in high performance sports are competition judoka and soccer player in the past. Currently I am competing in 70.3 & 140.6 Ironmans and CrossFit is my strength training support.

If you want to know how to integrate muscle stim and recovery products in (high) performance training and translate it all to the knowledge you already have, look at our Compex training courses and start integrating muscle stim and recovery products tomorrow in your daily day work!
